This cover is franked with a SG2 2 cent stamp and two SG3 4 cent stamps which paid the 10c Treaty Port/UPU rate. It is cancelled with two Webb type A Index C of which Webb reports less than 50 examples exist on cover.

Registered Censored Insured Envelope to Norway, Type HC1 dated 12 May 1918
This registered, censored envelope from is franked with two SG5 eight cent stamps, one SG12 fifty cent stamp and one SG14 $2.00 stamp which paid the 10c Registered letter fee, $2.50 to insure for 3000 Francs and the 10c plus 6c Treaty Port/UPU rate. It is resealed with British censor tape and cancelled with three Webb type A Index C cds and a boxed Registration handstamp measuring 39 x 18mm. Webb lists the Registration handstamp as measuring 38 x 14 mm, but this is believed to be a typographical error. The SG14 $2.00 is very rarely found on cover.
