Letter to Great Britain with "Damaged by Sea Water" Marking dated Jan 15, 1918
This unusual cover from Foochow to Great Britain is franked with a SG2 2 cent stamp and two SG3 4 cent stamps, paying the 10c Treaty Port/UPU rate, and is cancelled with two Type J CDS of which Webb reports less than 250 examples exist on cover.
The "Damaged by Sea Water" handstamp is extremely unusual and rare.

Registered Letter to the United States dated July 18, 1917
This registered letter is franked with two SG6 10 cent stamps which paid the 10c Registered letter fee and the 10c Treaty Port/UPU rate. The postage is cancelled with two Type J CDS and a Type L Registration handstamp. While no census exists, this is a very early usage of the handstamp from Foochow.

Registered Letter to the United States dated July 4, 1917
This registered letter is franked with two SG1 one cent and three SG6 ten cent stamps, which paid the 10c Registered Letter Fee and the 10c plus 6c Treaty Port/UPU rate. The stamps are cancelled with two Webb type J cds and a type L Registration handstamp. This is another very early usage of the handstamp from Foochow.
