N5 2 Cent Green newswrapper
Not a great deal is known about the 2 Cent green newswrapper. There was an initial printing of 1085 and these were placed into service on January 1, 1917. There was an additional order in May, 1917 but whether this was for 100 or 1000 is unknown as Perrin lists the total number of wrappers issued at 2185, while Higgins and Gage state the figure as 1185. Very few were ever used and used copies are unknown to exist.
