Registered Letter to Shanghai dated November 15, 1922 (Ex-Chan) A remarkable cover from Ningpo in many ways and discussed in Webb, as surviving covers from Ningpo are extremely rare. Used copies of the second issue stamps from agencies other than Wei Hai Wei are also uncommon and examples of the SG 28 $2 stamp on cover are also extremely rare. This cover shows one of only three known examples of the boxed Registration handstamp which is also the latest known usage of this handstamp. (The second of these covers is shown elsewhere in this exhibit.)
